Day 8 is a Swedish company that started Yacht Week as a brand and concept. It launched back in 2006 with a group of friends who wanted to explore the world by sailing. There are pre-planned packages that you can choose that even come with onboard catering and air conditioning. Or you can build your own this plan with customizable options.

How Yacht Week Works

For Yacht Week, you can choose up to 12 friends to come along and have your very own skipper for an exclusive experience. If you don’t have that many people in your group, you can also set sail on a shared yacht and make some new friends.

Skippers are included in every Yacht Week booking to navigate the boat and ensure your safety. Some packages also include hosts who will prepare delicious meals for you on the yacht too. What you do onboard the yacht during the week is totally up to you and your skipper and crew. Most people who participate enjoy the daily parties, simply relaxing on the yachts, and checking out local cuisine at the island restaurants.
