Port Lavrio, Greece, is the relatively smaller and lesser-known of the three ports on the Attic coast. It is, however, the prettiest of them all and looks like an island of its own. The Port was actually the prime silver mining and shipping site in the old days and now serves as a preservation site for many historical structures spread throughout the town. The village and the market also pose as tourist attractions where tourists can visit the old Town Hall, which is one of the oldest buildings in town.
